Lviv has never had a problem in placing fans and guests during the staging of Euro 2012 as a host city. The city is one of the biggest tourist centres of Ukraine and promptly provided the required number of places of various categories - from luxury "suites" in hotels to hostels. This was stressed by the Director of Lviv City Council for preparations for the championship, Oleh Zasadniy. "To place UEFA target groups an agreement was signed with 46 hotels on 2676 numbers, among them: 701 rooms - Category 5 *, 753 rooms - 4 * category and 1,222 three star rooms. In hotels, hostels, pensions and hostels in Lviv and the region more than 10,000 fans can be accommodated simultaneously," the functionary said.

According to him, the official agency to accommodate fans signed an agreement on more than 9,000 beds in the establishments located in Lviv, Truskavets and Morshyn.

Zasadniy also reminded that the official site for placing of Euro-2012 fans is already operating. It gives everyone the chance to change and book a place of accommodation in Lviv for the period of the tournament.
