Mamaeva Sloboda is a Ukrainian settlement built between XVII-XVIII centuries – a unique place that emphasizes the Cossack way of life! About 98 constructions are gathered all around to make the visitors feel the real Cossack’s spirit and to introduce them the following architecture: the Sotnik, Cossack-farrier and potter’s country houses, the cottages of armour-bearer Cossacks, a Jew shop-keeper, a priest, a functioning Cossack’s church. You are welcome to estimate the art features of Ukrainian baroque. The dishes of the noble, peasant and Cossack cuisines are widely offered in this lovely area.
